Here are the arrangements for our trip to Goodwood on Friday August 4th. The meet will be outside Downlands school at 9.45am with a view to leave at 10am.
We will stop off for a drink on the way at a halfway house which is pencilled in at Arundel at the minute.There are 7 races (first 4 on ITV) with the first race at 1.50pm and the last at 5.15pm.
The plan is to wait about until 7pm/7.30pm to let the traffic die down and leave the course then.The aim is to try and get everyone back to the club for about 8.30/9pm (not looking to stop on the way back so we can get back to the club quicker).
As regards money, we’re not entirely sure yet because we have a coach booked and we still have places to fill and tickets to sell. If you’d like to go please put your name forward to khssc1922@gmail.com
As things stand we have 33 people going and we have 17 tickets left if anyone wants to take some up. The tickets for the event itself are £17 each, plus a small fee to cover refreshments and the transport costs. If no further people come forward for places, then the extras will cost an additional £21. If we sell the other 17 places, they will cost an extra £12.
If you’d like to pay now, please assume £38 per person and if the numbers increase we’ll refund you the difference on the evening of the 4th. Otherwise, please wait until the day and pay the organiser Paul Murrell when you board the coach.
