The Football League is back

We have some great sport coming up on our TVs this weekend.

Starting tomorrow night, we’ll be showing the England Lionesses in their European Championship semi final against the Netherlands. That kicks off at 7.45 pm but don’t worry Everton fans, if you’re in and you ask at the bar, you will be able to watch your heroes scratch their way to a 0-0 on a separate screen.

On Friday evening at 7.45pm, league football begins with Sunderland’s home game in the Championship (division two in old money) against Derby the slightly disappointing opener..

Then on Saturday we start with the final test between England and South Africa at Noon, running through the day. At 5.30pm we get a special treat, with Aston Villa’s home game against Hull, while there is golf on in the evening.

Sunday begins for us at Noon with the test match but we’ll be switching our screens at 2pm so that we can show the Arsenal-Chelsea Community Shield game. That will be followed at 4.30pm by newly promoted Bolton playing Leeds in the Championship. In the event that England Ladies make the European Championships Final, we’ll be showing that at 5pm, when their prospective opponents will be either Austria or Denmark. We’ll also have the Bridgestone Invitational golf showing in the evening.
