We have a quandary at the Club in that we don’t know what to do with ourselves on New Year’s Eve this year. So we’re asking you, the members.
Twenty years ago, New Year’s Eve was a big night in the Club, with the bar area filled to the rafters for the Two Kens disco and a fine spread of food laid out in the snooker room. Since then, the night has declined and we’ve tried a range of things to keep you entertained and, as one of the few local venues not to charge entry on New Year’s Eve, we’re at a loss as to what we should be doing to tempt you in to the place. We’ve had discos, had bands playing, staged quizzes, just played music and done nothing. But New Year’s Eve hasn’t been a big night in the club for a decade at least.
So what would you members like to see us do? If anything?
