We’ve got plenty of variety on our screens this weekend, starting tonight with World Cup football. At 7.45pm we’ll be showing England’s qualifying match in Malta on both our screens.
Tomorrow we start with a special treat for our two Bradford City fans, when they host Bristol Rovers in their League 1 game at 12.30. We’ll also be showing the first of this weekend’s 20/20 semi final games, between Warwickshire and Glamorgan from Noon. At 14.30 tomorrow the cricket switches to the Hampshire-Nottinghamshire 20/20 semi and then at 5 pm we’re showing the Georgia-Ireland World Cup game. We follow that in the evening with the 20/20 Final, starting at 18.45, and Wales-Austria in a must-win qualifying game.
On Sunday we’re showing the Italian Grands Prix from 1pm and we also have lower division games between Blackburn and Fleetwood at 12.15 and between Portsmouth and Rotherham at 14.30.
That’s not the end of the World Cup action, with England playing Slovakia at 19.45 on Monday night and with other games later in the week, before we return to normality on the weekend after.
See you all in the Club this weekend.
And snooker players, the time for practicing for the start of the new season is running out. The first Thursday league fixtures start next week, in division two, with the rest beginning the Thursday after.
