Beer Pong this Saturday

We have another great weekend in store for you at the Club. Starting tonight, we currently have England’s final one day international against the Windies on, while at 7.45 your chair gets his annual humiliation when QPR play Fulham at 7.45.

Tomorrow we an exceptionally full day. We start with Huddersfield-Spurs on Sky at 12.45. Then at 14.30 we’ll have rugby with Leicester-Exeter on BT, while our other screen will be showing the football results. And in the middle of the afternoon we’ll be firing up the barbie ahead of our big match for the weekend, when Chelsea play Man City at 5.30 pm. In the evening the football team we sponsor, Hassocks Fatboys, will be having a Beer Pong night in the Club – a warning to those older members who like their peace and quiet, it will be loud and possiubly messy.

On Sunday, we start at Noon with Arsenal against Brighton on BT – Banno if we have a big crowd in you’ll have to miss the Wednesday-Leeds game because we’ll have to put it on both screens. Then at 2.15pm, we’re showing Everton-Burnley on Sky, followed at 4.30pm by the Newcastle-Liverpool match. That will be followed in the evening by the culmination of the Presidents Cup golf.

Next week its international football and of course in a week’s time our beer festival starts.

In the meantime, we have to ask an embarrassing question. Can those of you that have so far won the Jim Bibby Trophy tell us who you are and when you won it please? We know Steve Bunt won the first but who followed please?
