We’ll be showing England’s World Cup qualifier against Slovenia tonight. Win and England qualify for the World Cup Finals next year, so what could possibly go wrong. Those of you of a nervous disposition can calm yourselves with a pint or two during the game, while those of you with partners who have something (anything as far as they are concerned) else to watch can let them do so by making tracks to the Club.
In the event that England don’t quite make it tonight, we’ll be showing their final group game away in Lithuania at 5pm on Sunday. It just happens that our beer festival will still be running then.
Tomorrow (Friday) night we’ll be showing Wales’s crucial game away in Georgia, when they will be without Saint Gareth, on one screen and England’s under-21s game against Scotland’s on the other. Both games start at 7.45 pm.
On Saturday we’ll have the usual football results service on our screens in the afternoon while if you ask at the bar we can also show rugby union between London Irish and Leicester at 2.25 pm. At 6 pm on Saturday we’ll be putting the rugby league Grand Final, which should at least keep Banno happy.
On Sunday we have Saracens-Wasps on at 2.45 pm and then the England game. Also, at 7.45 pm we’ll be showing Northern Ireland’s away in Norway.
So we’ve got plenty of sport lined up for you and, from Friday night, we’ll be running our beer festival through the weekend and we’d love to see you in enjoying it all.
