Saturday night is alright for quizzing

We have another good weekend lined up for you.

Tomorrow afternoon, a small group of us will be sitting down to stuff envelopes to get your membership renewal notices out to you, and they would welcome any help offered. So, if you can spare an hour or so folding letters or counting out raffle tickets, you would be very welcome. We’ll be gathering in the Club at about 2.30 pm.

And tomorrow night its our October quiz night. This is always a good night and it always seems a bit better when the nights are closing in as they are now, so why not come down and give it a go. The cost is £2 per player in teams of up to four and the quiz kicks off at 8.30 pm tomorrow night.

If you’re looking for sport on our TVs, well our weekend starts this evening when Brighton play away at yer West Am from 8 pm. If you’re an Albion supporter and you’re not on your way to London, come on down to the Club and have a pint with friends while the game is on.

Tomorrow we have a mix of European Cup rugby and football to look forward. We start at 12.30 pm when Chelsea host Watford on Sky and then move on to Clermont-Auvergne against Northampton at 3 pm. We’ll also be showing the usual football news on another screen from 3 before our afternoon game between Southampton and West Brom at 5.30 pm.

Then on Sunday, we’re showing the East Anglia derby at 12.30 and we’ll be putting Everton-Arsenal on another screen at 1.30 pm. At 4 pm its Spurs vs Liverpool in what should be a cracker before we finish our weekend sport with the US Grands Prix at 8 pm.
