You should all have received your letters from the Club by now, which ask you to renew your membership for 2018. You have until the end of the year to renew, although we normally give some leeway for about a month after. For peace of mind, its probably easiest to make sure you’ve got yourselves renewed before we fall in to the long run up to Christmas but we’ll be happy to take your money all the way through the holidays as well.
If you’re using the Club regularly, we;d love to have you carry on doing so for another year, so please make sure you sign up because reapplying can be a right pain. If you haven’t really used the Club and are thinking that maybe you should give up your membership, why not pop in to the Club before Christmas and give us another go. From the Club’s point of view, it gives us a chance to show that you should stay on and from yours, what’s not to like about having an evening out trying to remember what it was that made you sign up for the membership in the first place. And we do have some great events coming up for you to enjoy, with an Open Mike Night on Saturday, our November quiz on the 18th and our Great Pie Night on November 25th. So we’ll hope to see you in the Club over the next couple of months.
Your letters will also have contained some raffle ticket books for you. These are a part of the Club’s fund-raising activities for charity and we’d really appreciate your help in buying the tickets. What’s more, if you can sell some additional tickets outside the Club, maybe at work or to family/neighbours, we’d love to see that, so please dig deep and get your tickets back into the Club as soon as possible. You will be nagged again and, you never know, you might win a prize.
Finally, Club member Chris Wilson has organised a comedy night next door at Adastra Hall on Friday November 10th and we are selling some tickets behind the bar. Ticket prices for the event are £12 per person, with £2 of that going to Club charities. Details of the night can be found on the Ha Ha Hassocks Facebook page.
