We’ve got a great weekend lined up for you in the Club. We’ve got Premiership football, international rugby, premier league rugby and Championship football on our screens and, most important of all, its our November quiz tomorrow night.
The quiz kicks off at 8.30pm and we normally have plenty in, so try and arrive early to secure a seat. The fee to play is £2 a person in teams of no more than four. There are normally at least three rounds of questions and cash prizes are awarded to the winners of each, And what’s more, Scally varies the questions so well that we often find different teams win at the end of each round. With Gordon’s beautifully managed bar working hard to keep you all in drinks, we normally have a great noght, so why not come down and have a go.
Our TV action starts tonight, with Championship football on one screen and Premiership rugby on the other. The football gives us a Lancashire derby, between Preston and Bolton, while in the rugby Gloucester take on high-flying Saracens in what should be one of the games of the weekend. Both games kick off at 7.45pm.
Tomorrow we start early with a huge Premiership match. when Arsenal play host to Spurs at 12.30 on Sky. Then at 3pm we’ll be showing the England-Australia rugby friendly on one screen and the afternoon’s football scores as they come through on the other. Then at 5.30pm we’ll be showing Man Utd-Newcastle on BT. Fulham and Derby fans we can put your game on a second screen but please ask at the bar and make sure you’re not asking for the screen Scally’s watching to be turned over.
On Sunday we’ll have Leeds against Boro in the Championship from 13.15, followed by Exeter against Harlequins on Sky at 3pm and Watford against yer West Ham at 4pm.
And that won’t be the end of the weekend’s sport because on Monday night we’re showing Brighton against Stoke in the Prem. Kick off is at 8pm at if you haven’t got a ticket but you’d like to watch the game, we’d love to have you in the Club to watch the game,
