We’ve got lots for you to watch in the Club over the next few days.
We start on Friday night (tomorrow) with the Steel City derby at Bramall Lane. We actually have a Sheff Utd supporting member, but he’ll probably be poncing around in Hove somewhere that night so the game isn’t compulsory. If you’re a rugger bugger, we could also show the European Champions Cup between Bath and Llanelli Scarlets. Both start at 19.45 and if you’d like the rugby on you’ll need to ask at the bar.
On Saturday we start with a Championship match at 12.30pm, between Cardiff and Sunderland. That will be followed by the usual results service, while there is also rugby in the form of Exeter-Montpelier on BT – you’ll need to ask at the bar for that. At 17.30 we turn to Prem football, with BT bringing us Spurs against Everton on one screen while on the other we’ll be showing Forest against Villanil on Sky.
Sunday’s entertainment starts at 1.30pm with Bournemouth-Arsenal on Sky. Then its the highlight of the weekend when Liverpool take on Man City at 4pm, also on Sky. The Club will be the perfect place to see that, won’t it Mr Brown?
The weekend doesn’t finish there because on Monday night Sky have held back one of the weekend’s thrillers for us, showing free-scoring Man Utd against basket-cases Stjoke City at 8pm.
Next week we have some FA Cup replays to look forward to, including Chelsea and Norwich on Wednesday night and then we run into the weekend with Scally’s January quiz. This kicks off at 8pm on Saturday January 20th. It’s always a good night and we’d love to see you all in, especially some of our many newer members – don’t be shy, come to the Club and give it a try.
And please make sure your membership has been renewed and that you have your membership cards with you.
