We’ve got a great weekend lined up for you in the Club. The highlight of the weekend will be Scally’s January quiz on Saturday night. The quiz starts at 8.30 but its best to be in by 8pm to make sure you’ve got a table. It’s £2 a person for teams of no more than four, so if you’re coming as a large group you’ll have to make more than one team. Scally’s quizzes are normally in three parts, which means that this time it’ll probably be in four just to show me, there’s a whole range of subjects and most people will find something that they’re good on. So why not come down and give Scally’s quiz a try.
And we have loads of great sport on our TVs for you, which is going to be especially handy during Sunday’s rain. But we start tonight with Championship football when Derby take on Brizzle City at 7.45 on Sky.
Tomorrow, we’ll be open at Noon, which is handy for ticketless Brighton fans because their team takes on Chelsea on Sky at 12.30. Of course, Chelsea fans will be very welcome in the Club as well although given current form they may be a bit shy. We’ll have the normal results service running through the afternoon and then at 5,30, BT are bringing us a great game in Man City-Newcastle.
On Sunday we only have the one game on, which is at 4pm when Mr Knight’s plucky Saints take on Spurs.
That’s not the end of the weekend because on Monday night Sky are bringing us Swansea-Liverpool at 8pm. There’ll be League Cup football on during the week and the FA Cup comes back for us, not for QPR fans obviously, next weekend.
