We’ve got a great weekend of sport coming up for you in the Club and we start early tonight.
At 6.30pm tonight, its Durham-Sussex in their 20/20 quarter final. That nice David Lloyd reckons Sussex have the fastest attack in the final stages. But he also thinks that us Sussex boys are too soft to be able to function in the chilly wastes oop north. We’ll be showing the lot on our screens. We can also bring you Middlesbrough-West Brom in the Championship but only if we don’t have that many in for the cricket. After both, we’ll have the Northern Trust golf.
Tomorrow we start nice and early at 12.30 with Wolves-Man City on Sky, last season’s top flight and second tier champions matched up against each other but you have to suspect that Wolves might be getting a bit of a lesson. Then we’ll have the usual results service from 3pm before at 5.30pm we’re with BT watching Liverpool-Brighton. So if you’re not joining Spud and making the trip up to Scouseland and you don’t have BT Sport, come to the Club and watch the game with us.The golf starts at 7pm on Saturday night.
Then on Sunday we’re showing Watford-Palarce at 12pm, hopefully complete with Harry the Hornet doing a full-on dive in front of a po-faced Woy. Both teams have started the season brightly, so that should be a good game and if you’re really lucky Aaron will be in to give his totally unbiased view of the proceedings. On at almost the same time and on one our screens, we’ll have the Belgian Grands Prix starting at 2.10pm. At 4pm on Sunday we’ll be showing Newcastle-Chelski on Sky, so not only can you catch up with Aaron’s views on the game but you can also play soft cock bingo as Scally settles down to watch his heroes.
Monday being a bank holiday with loads of people looking for something to do, there isn’t much sport on to watch during the day but we do have the park outside and what sounds like it might be a half decent day, so why not come down for a pint and let the kids run riot out on the park. Then on Monday night we’ve got a cracking match to look forward to at 8pm, with Man Utd-Spurs on both screens, so you’ll get a great finish to your weekends.
