International Football this weekend

England are on our screens on Saturday night and we’ll be showing their opening game in the UEFA Nations League against Spain. Kick off is at 7.45pm and it’ll be on Sky, right at the same time as Strictly and a Harry Potter film, so if you want to watch the game without causing a riot in the house, come to the Club and watch it with us. England will be on again in a friendly against Switzerland, also on Sky, on Tuesday night at 8pm if you want to pop that in your diaries..

We’ve got loads of other sport on our TVs this weekend. We start tonight with international football or rugby union on our screens. At 7.45pm Scotland play Belgium on Sky and Northampton-Harlequins on BT, or alternatively if nobody’s watching you can watch the BMW golf championships, which will be on Sky Sports Golf from early evening through the weekend.

Tomorrow we open at Noon with the second day of the final test against India, finely balanced with England struggling at 198-7. That will run through the day. Then at 3pm we’l have the usual results service on for those of you following bets or tipsters forms and after that we’re limbering up for the England game.

On Sunday, the third day of the test gets us going at Noon. If you’re very keen you can also watch Oxford-Coventry in League 1 then. At 1pm we’re showing the San Marino Moto GP on BT, you may need to ask at the bar for that, before at 3pm we switch to rugby union with Sale-Worcester on BT. Sunday finishes with the golf at 7pm.

That’s it for this weekend and we’ll have more to say about the week ahead later. Next weekend the Premiership football is back, including a cracker between Spurs and Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime and of course, our September quiz on Saturday night.
