This week sees the return of Champions League football to our screens and as a result we have something on every evening of the week.So for those of you keen to see your sides play Europe’s best the Club is the place to be on Tuesday and Wednesday. For those of you whose teams are in the Europa League, you’l be able to watch in the Club on Thursday and all of that is topped and tailed by the English game.
We start our coverage tonight in the Premier League, with Brighton’s game away at Southampton kicking off at 8pm. Then tomorrow night at 5.55 pm we settle down to watch Inter Milan-Spurs in the Champions League. after that at 8pm its Liverpool-Paris Saint Germain, so we’re getting a full evening’s entertainment.
On Wednesday we’ll be watching two games at 8 pm, when Man City host Lyon and Man Utd travel to Young Boys Basel. You can also watch QPR-Millwall in the Championship but your Chair will be completely understanding if you can’t bring yourselves to ask the bar staff for it – mind you, given Rangers start to the season said FWB may actually be grateful for it not to be on.
On Thursday we switch to the Europa League with Chelsea travelling to PAOK, in Thessaloniki I think, at 17.55, and then Arsenal host Vorskia, don’t ask, at 8pm. We’ll also have the Tour Championship golf starting at 8pm and that runs through to Sunday night.
The week ends with rugby and football on Friday night, with both Newcastle-Exeter on BT and Wigan-Bristol City in the Championship on Sky at 7.45pm.
Then on the weekend we’re back in the Premiership with Brighton-Spurs on Saturday afternoon, West Ham-Chelsea on Sunday lunchtime and Arsenal-Everton a couple of hours after.
