We’ve got a real mixed bag for you to look forward to in the Club this weekend.
The highlight of the weekend is on Saturday night, when we stage our October quiz. Quiz night is always good fun and this will be no different. The quiz kicks off at 8.30pm and is open to teams of four at £2 per head. So get your thinking hats on and let’s see you in the Club tomorrow night.
Tonight, we’re enjoying football and rugby on our screens. At 7.45pm we have two games starting, one is Sheffield Wednesday-Middlesbrough in the Championship on Sky and the other Leicester-Scarlets, pitching England against Wales at European Cup Rugby on BT.
Then the game of the weekend will be on Saturday lunchtime when Chelsea host Man Utd in the Premiership at 12.30pm. Rugger buggers can also catch Munster-Gloucester in the rugby, on BT but be warned all screens will be on the football at first and, if we have a crowd in for that, it will stay that way. Then at 3pm we will have the screens split, with the normal results service on one set and Wasps-Bath in the rugby. After that we have another double header, with Saracens-Lyon starting at 5.15pm on one screen and with Huddersfield-Liverpool on BT on the other. That will be the end of the Saturday sport because then we’ll move on to the quiz.
On Sunday we start with rugby at 12.30pm, with Newcastle-Montpelier. That’s in until at 4pm we move on to Premiership football when we watch Everton-Palace in the Prem. For the small group that discovered watching American football in the Club this week, you can repeat the experience with Minnesota Vikings-NY Jets after the football, followed by Dallas Cowboys-Washington Redskins at 9pm, all on Sky Sports Action. Also on Sunday evening at 7.10pm, we’ll be showing the US Grands Prix on Sky.
That’s not the end of the weekend because on Monday night we have one last Premiership game, Arsenal-Leicester, to look forward to. That kicks off on Sky at 8pm, The week ahead has plenty of European football, golf and, on Friday evening, QPR-Villa, yes me and Matt will be watching it together.
