We’ve got another great weekend of sport ahead for you and what’s more we’re cracking the barbie open for you tomorrow.
We start tonight with golf, with the Memorial Tournament on Sky in the evenings through the weekend.
Tomorrow cricket lovers can start things off with New Zealand-Sri Lanka in the World Cup from Noon. Then at 3pm we have the first big event of the weekend with the rugby union Premier League Final. Exeter-Saracens will be a great game and kicks off only on BT at 3pm, so if you like your rugby get yourself down to the Club to enjoy it.
During the second half of the rugby we’ll be firing up the barbie in readiness for the the next big event tomorrow. That will be the Champions League Final between Liverpool and Spurs. Kick off is at 8pm and its only on BT so get yourselves down to the Club to watch it. And if you fancy food be warned be warned, the barbie finishes at 7.45pm because the chefs want to watch the game too.
On Sunday, we’re starting again with World Cup cricket at Noon with South Africa, still smarting from their mauling at the hands of England yesterday, taking on Bangladesh. Then at 3pm we’ll be showing one of the highlights of the rugby year, when England take on the Barbarians. Every rugger bugger loves a Baa Baas game and this one should have a little extra spice with the likes of Joe Marler looking to show why he should really be in Eddie Jones’s England team and others just wanting to stuff it up the English. Sunday will finish with the golf and the usual free pool.
Next week we’ve got more World Cup cricket to look forward to, the Netherlands-England in their Nations Cup semi final, our gin tasting night on Friday, and, possibly, more international football next weekend.
Finally, those of you signed up for the gin tasting, we need your fivers in please. And, this weekend looks as though it’ll be a great one for letting the kids loose in the park so lets see you parents joining our sports fanatics this weekend.
