Its quiz night at the Club this Saturday.. Our questionmeister Scally will be asking the questions from about 8.30 on Saturday. As usual, we;ll be playing for cash prizes and the competition will be between teams of no more than four, paying £2 a head. It should be a great night and we look forward to seeing you all.
In the meantime, we have plenty of good sport on our TVs this week. Tomorrow night we’ll be showing the Champions League play off game between Hoffenheim and Liverpool, with the game showing on BT from 7.45. Then on Thursday, Everton play a Europa Cup play-off game at home to Hajduk Split, also on BT. We think that one kicks off at 7.45 but it might be a little later..
On Thursday and Friday from opening time, you can sit and watch the first test between England and the West Indies – that runs through the weekend – And on Friday night we’ll be showing Appy Arry’s Birmingham City when they visit but fail to trouble the mighty Burton Albion. Kick off is at 7.45 and, if you’re not too traumatised after that, we can show the Wyndham Championship golf from about 10 pm.
