Brighton v Spurs and other sport across the weekend

Before saying anything else, if you’re wondering when Paul Lewry is showing up tonight, he’ll be in at about 7-7.30pm, so get your skates on. There is a small buffet laid on.

This weekend we’ve got plenty of sport on our screens starting tonight with a couple of humdingers, with Newcastle-Exeter in the rugby premier league and with Championship titans Wigan-Bristol City going against each other at 7.45pm. There’s also the Tours Championship golf to watch from early evening through the weekend.

We start tomorrow, Saturday, with Premiership footy at 12.30 pm on Sky, when Fulham host Watford in what should be an attractive game. After that, at 3pm we have our usual results service on the screens before we get some top football at 5.30pm. That’s right, QPR are playing Norwich on Sky, while there’s also the lesser affair between Brighton and Spurs on BT – assuming enough of you aren’t going to the game down at the Amex we’ll be showing the Albion game as a priority.

On Sunday the first sport on our screens will be at 1pm, with the Spanish Moto GP on BT. That will be on one set of screens because at 1.30pm West Ham host Chelsea on Sky. By 4pm, we’ll have all our screens focusing on the final game of the weekend when we’ll be showing Arsenal-Everton.

Next week, we’ve got League Cup football featuring Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and we’ll be showing the Ryder Cup from Thursday. So we’ve got loads for you to look forward to for you.

And, a date for your diaries, on Saturday night next weekend we’ll be hosting Acoustica for the evening. They are an acoustic duo playing slightly heavy songs and they’ll be kicking off at about 8.30pm.
