We’re in for some treats in the Club this weekend. And with a bit of luck we’ll be ice free from Saturday as well, having had a week when walking through the village was a bit like putting your life in somebody else’s hands.
If you’re feeling brave tonight, we’re showing Middlesbrough-Leeds in the Championship from 7.45pm, with the World Golf Championships in Mexico on straight after.
Tomorrow we open with the Burnley-Everton Premiership game on Sky at 12.30. Then we can show Premiership rugby with Exeter-Saracens on BT at 2.30pm. The usual results service starts on the screen nearest the cricket club at 3pm and then we bring you Liverpool-Newcastle on BT at 5.30pm. We can also show Wolves-Reading for you Dan but, assuming you’re going up, we won’t be putting it on automatically, so please ask. And for pity’s sake don’t get the TV Scally’s watching switched over. The golf starts at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday we start with Brighton’s game against a rather disfunctional Arsenal at 1.30pm on Sky, before moving on to Man City-Chelsea at 4pm, given that City only played on Thursday asking them to play a fixture at Stamford Bridge on a Sunday seems a bit harsh but there you go.
The weekend doesn’t stop there because Sky are bringing us a Monday night game, with Palace taking on Man Utd at 8pm. After that there’s Champions League football through the week, so loads to look forward to through the week.
