Two more big games to go in the international break and then we have a brief breather before going into a
fantastic weekend of sport on our screens. Tonight its Spain-England on Sky at 7.45pm in the UEFA Nations Cup. Have to confess to some sympathy for Southgate here, trying to bed in youngsters whilst playing some of the best sides in the world, but at least Jordan Henderson isn’t playing.
Tomorrow night, we’ll have a feisty local derby when Ireland host Wales on Sky. That kicks off at 7.45pm as well.
Then we have a fairly quiet week for televised sport but things start warming up for the weekend on Friday night, when we have European Cup rugby and Championship football on. In the rugby, Leicester play the Scarlets from Wales at 7.30pm on BT and in the football its Sheffield Wednesday-Middlesbrough on Sky from 7.45pm.
That’s just the precursor to a weekend that centres around the Club quiz on Saturday night but also brings us Chelsea-Man Utd in the Premiership, more European Championship rugby, Championship football, American football and the US Grands Prix. But we’ll have more to say on that later in the week.
See you in the Club this week.
