Get your groove on to Danny M’s Disco

This Friday night, Danny M is bringing his disco to us and he’s raising money for the Air Ambulance, All you have to do is turn up, have a good night and, if you want to hear a particular tune and, for a £2-5 price he’ll play it, with all the cash raised going to the Air Ambulance, a vital service that benefits all of us and has been known to land in the field opposite the Club. It should be a great night, starting at about 8.30pm and running til late, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy yourselves.

You’ll have three whole days to recover in but, if you’re still game to be entertained, on Easter Saturday we’l be staging our April quiz, run by your excellent compere Scally. His quizzes are always great fun and Scally will be kicking things off at around 8.30pm. The quiz is open to teams of up to four, paying £2 a head, and its always a great night.

That’s not all, because before we get to the weekend we’ve got loads of televised sport coming up. We start with tonight’s game at 8pm on Sky, Watford-Arsenal, in which Arsenal have to win to stay in touch with the race to stay in the Champions League places so they’ll be hoping that their opposition have half an eye on the Cup Final.

Tomorrow night we have a great Champions League game, with Man Utd trying to reverse a lead in Barcelona on BT at 8pm. Then on Wednesday we’ll be showing two Champions League matches with Spurs taking a 1-0 lead up to Man City and Liverpool going to Porto with two goals in the bank. Both games start at 8pm and we’ll be showing each of them.

On Thursday we’re bringing you Europa Cup football at 8pm, with two games on. Chelsea will be defending the 1-0 they brought back from Slavia Prague last week and Arsenal will be trying to preserve a 2-0 lead over in Napoli. We also have the RBC Heritage golf on from Thursday through Sunday, although it will have to wait until after the football on Thursday and we won’t be showing it at all on Friday.

That brings us to Good Friday and Sky thinks we’ll be burning to watch lots of League football. We start at 12.30pm with Sheffield United-Forest in the Championship. Then at 1pm our first cricket of the season starts with Sussex-Surrey in the One Day Cup, so we’ll be splitting the screens. At 3pm we can put Burton-Portsmouth in League 1 and then at 5.30pm Sunderland-Doncaster. Sorry Norwich fans but we won’t be showing your teams game against Sheffield Wednesday.

Then we have some a gem coming up over the weekend with Man City-Spurs for the third time in a fortnight at 12.30pm on Saturday. We’ll also no doubt have some fun watching Cardiff-Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
