Halloween weekend in the Club

We’re in for a great weekend in the Club, with our Halloween entertainments tomorrow and with some fantastic sport on our TVs. We talked about Halloween on Wednesday night, so this mail focuses on televised sport for this weekend, but please do your best to support the fund-raising we’re doing, not least by buying raffle tickets in aid of St Peter & St James Hospice. Tickets can be bought at the bar for £ a strip.

We start our sporting fun tonight with the game of the weekend, for at least two Club members, with QPR-Aston Villa on Sky from 7.45pm. There is also golf on through the weekend.

Tomorrow we kick off at 2.30pm with Sri Lanka-England in their 20/20 game on one TV and at 3pm we’ll have the usual results service. Then at 5.30pm we’re showing Leeds-Forest (Banno vs Neil Baker) on Sky on one set of screens, plus Leicester-West Ham on the others on BT.You should be warned there will be a kiddies party going on at the same time so there will be no sound.

On Sunday we kick off at 1.30pm with Palace-Arsenal on Sky. That’s followed at 4pm by Man Utd-Everton and then at 7.10pm we’ll be showing the Mexican Grands Prix. There’s also rugby and American Football for you to watch but please ask at the bar.

Finally on Monday night we’ll be showing a cracking game between Spurs-Man City, kicking off at 8pm on Sky. That’s the start of a week of sport which will include League Cup football.
