Huge sporting weekend in the Club

Well folks, bear with us because we’ve got a lot to get across. Our screens will bring you the peak of the rugby world, some fantastic Premiership football, the Championshp and the FA Cup, a Grands Prix and American football. We’ve got something for everybody this weekend.

We start tonight, when you can watch the steel city derby, Sheffield United-Sheffield Wednesday, which kicks off at 7.45pm. Then 10 minutes later, our first FA Cup game starts, with Haringey Borough-Wimbledon on BBC2.

Tomorrow we start at 12.30 with Cardiff-Brighton on Sky. If we have a few Albion supporters in, we’ll turn all the screens over to that, but if we don’t we can split the screens to show the Maidenhead-Portsmouth FA Cup game which kicks off on BT1 at the same time as the Brighton game. Then at 3pm we’ll have one set of screens showing our usual results service but the the others will be showing one of the highlights of the weekend, with England-New Zealand kicking off on Sky at 3pm. Once the rugby and football results are through, we then go back to the Premiership, with Palace-Spurs on one set of screens on BT at 5.30pm and, at the same time, West Brom-Leeds in the Championship on Sky Sports VillaLeeds.

Then on Sunday the main highlight is three Prem games in a row, starting off at Noon with Liverpool-Fulham on BT1. Then comes Chelsea-Everton on Sky at 2.15pm while, if there aren’t many watching that, you can also watch Port Vale-Sunderland in the FA Cup at 2.30pm on BT1, Then at 4.30pm we showing the Manchester derby, City-United, on Sky. Depending on numbers watching we can also show the Brazilian Grands Prix from 5.10 pm on Sky or American football on Sky Sports Action.

As well as all that there’s also the Mayakoba Classic golf and Grand Slam darts through the weekend, while our Monday night football will be Hampton & Richmond-Oldham in the FA Cup.

Phew. Next week we’re quieter because we’re heading for an international weekend. And please keep an eye out for a mail giving you our schedule of events for the rest of this year, which we’ll get out this weekend.
