We desperately need people to put themselves forward to help with our stand at Light Up Hassocks on Friday night.
As things stand we have just one person committed to setting up our pitch. That includes carrying our stuff down there from the Club, putting it up and then putting it in place on the road outside Reflex. One person can’t do all of that alone.
That same person is the only one currently committed to being there through the afternoon and to being around to take everything down at the end of the day. We have plans to give away mulled wine, to sell Club raffle tickets and to give out Club memberships for a day, to promote the Club and hopefully gain new members, but as things stand we are not in a position to be able to do all of that and possibly not even any of it.
We appreciate very much the two people who have come forward to help us at 5pm-ish and the two others that have said that they can spare us some unspecified time during the afternoon but we really need a bit more than what we have, so if you can make yourselves available to us, especially to getting set up, please let us know by returning this email as soon as possible.
Also, if you have put yourselves forward for the Christmas Turkey Trot down at Seaford Head, please be advised tnat this has now been cancelled due to lack of interest.
