On in the Club this weekend

It looks like being a pretty ropey weekend judging from the weather forecasts, so what better way to ignore the weather than to come for a pint in the Club? We have some great sport on our screens through the weekend to help you enjoy your drinks, with Premiership and Championship football, rugby union, the final test (although that might be over by tomorrow night, they way things are going), Moto GP and golf.

We start tonight with our Treasurer hiding at home while her beloved Hull City travel to Derby County, kicking off at 7.45. After that, we can show the Walker Cup golf.

On Saturday, the Test Match opens up at Noon, with England a nose in front in a match where wickets are tumbling. Alongside that, from 12.30pm, its Man City against Liverpool on Sky and, if nobody’s already watching the cricket, we can show Bath against Saracens in the rugby at 13.30. At 5.30pm, we’ll have two football matches on, with one screen showing Stoke vs Man Utd and the other Sheffield Wednesday against Forest. That’s it until 22.00, when the golf comes on.

Sunday starts again with the Test, assuming it hasn’t been won by somebody and than at 1pm its the San Marino Moto GP. Burnley and Palace start off the Sunday football, at 1.30pm, and then its Swansea and Newcastle at 4pm. Sadly we won’t be able to watch Scally watching that because he’ll be doing the Great North Run tomorrow – by the way good luck with that Scally. There’ll be more golf on in the evening at 10pm.

Finally on Monday night we’re showing West Ham and Huddersfield on Sky from 8pm, we’re hoping for a rare appearance from our resident Hammer.

There’s loads more sport to come, with Champions League and Europa Cup football starting in the week so please stay tuned for more announcements.

And a final finally, don’t forget its the third Saturday in the month next weekend, which means it will be quiz night. We had a great crowd in for the last one and we’d love to see even more of you at the next one.
