Hi all,
Don’t forget tonight Richard Ellis is putting together an open mic night at the Club, starting at about 8.30. This is always a good night and if you just want to listen or you fancy having a go, we’d love to see you in the Club.
Then tomorrow we’re open house for the day when we are supporting a charity stoolball event that takes in the park. The day is in memory of Sita Allen, who used to use the Club a lot once upon a time but sadly passed away not long ago. So her friends and former team-mates are staging a tournament to raise money for cancer charities. We’d really love to have your support for this event, either as a spectator, buying a raffle ticket, or just raising a glass to Sita. We also need stoolball players – you don’t need to be any good, just willing – especially men because the teams are mixed. So you fancy enjoying a great family day tomorrow please come and support the day. We’ll be open from Noon and running the barbie shortly after.
Finally, we’re showing test cricket, with England in a great position versus South Africa, on our TVs this weekend, plus the Hungarian Grands Prix at 1pm tomorrow.
