We will be holding our AGM in the snooker room at 8pm on Friday April 13th. All members are welcome and in fact we’d love to see you there. At the meeting you will learn how the Club is doing, with reports given by senior management committee officers and what we are hoping to achieve in the coming year. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of officers and we will also vote in the new management committee. Please do your best to attend.
In the meantime, we have a limited amount of sport to bring to you this week. Tomorrow night, England host Italy in another friendly which kicks off at 8pm. We’ll be showing the whole mind-numbingly tedious spectacle as England huff and puff to break down that famous Italian defence.
Then on Thursday we bring more pain for our Bradford City fans as we invite them to watch their teams kick off away at Blackburn on Sky at 7.45pm. Also on Thursday the Houston Open golf starts, running through the weekend ahead of the Masters in a week’s time.
On Good Friday we start with lower league football when Oxford take on Scunny at 12.45pm on Sky. Then the same channel brings us Middlesbrough-Wolves in the Championship at 5.30pm before we move on to Derby-Sunderland at 19.30. With the golf to finish the night off we then move into the Easter weekend properly, of which more later.
