We’ve got another great weekend lined up for you in the Club, with the Premiership’s final games on Sunday, umpteen play-off games, Formula 1 and top class golf on the schedule. So you have loads of reasons to be in the Club.
We start tonight with the first Championship play off semi-final, with Derby-Fulham kicking off at 7.45pm on Sky. Also, we have the Players Championships golf at Sawgrass all weekend on Sky, which appears to be live from 7pm. Of course there’s a lot of football on as well golfers, so please bear in mind others before you ask for the Players to be on.
Tomorrow we start at 12.30 with Scunthorpe-Rotherham in their League 1 play off semi before moving on to Lincoln-Exeter in their first League 2 game at 3pm. After the good stuff, we then bring you Middlesbrough-Villanil in the Championship before at 7.30pm its Coventry-Notts County in their League 2 play-off. Yes folks that’s right, Coventry in their fourth division play off semi, how the mighty fall, or am I talking about Villanil?
On Sunday we have a load of stuff coming your way. Petrol heads will need to be in early to watch the Spanish Grands Prix, which bullies off at 1.10pm. Then at 3pm we have Premiership action. In their wisdom Sky are showing three games and we only have two screens, so we’re showing Liverpool-Brighton on one screen and Newcastle-Chelsea on the other. Please don’t ask which one is showing which game because Gordon is in charge of the TVs Sunday and he’s a Chelsea supporting Plastic Seagull. Our guess is the Brighton game will be on the screen nearest the cricket club, because he’s none too happy with Conte’s Chelsea.
Then at 17.15 will have the first play off pairing to be settled when Shrewsbury, with a 1-0 lead from last night’s game, host Charlton.
There’ll be play off semis going on through next week and also the Europa Cup Final for those Gooners wanting to know what could have been, so please stay tuned to the Club.
