Quiz Night in the Club this weekend

We’ve got a great weekend coming up for you in the Club. The highlight is Saturday night, when we hold our December quiz. This is always a great night and what better way to go into the last week before Christmas than to exercise the little grey cells. The quiz starts at 8.30pm tomorrow night and as ever is being set by Scally. It is open to teams of four at a massive £2 per person, so why not come down and give it a go.

Before we go on to the sport ahead, our apologies to those members that found themselves without emails over the last month. We had a major email blip and its taken a while to get everything back to speed. Hopefully you’re all back with us now.

And so to the sport on TV. Tomorrow starts at 12.30pm on Sky with Man City-Everton, We can also show Saracens-Cardiff in the rugby European Champions Cup from 1pm, but you will need to ask at the bar to get it put on. At 3pm we’ll be showing our usual results service, while rugger buggers can also watch the Toulouse-Wasps game. Then at 5.30pm we have a nice tasty London derby for you to watch at Craven Cottage with Fulham-West Ham on BT. Then at 8.30pm its our quiz.

On Sunday we start at Leicester-Racing 92 in the rugby at 1pm on BT, while at 1.30pm we’ll be showing Southampton-Arsenal on Sky – one of our Arsenal fans is so worried about this fixture that he’s run off to Australia to escape any potential flak. Then at 4pm all our screens will be devoted to the match of the weekend, with Liverpool-Man Utd on Sky. That should be very interesting but will our United fans be watching between their fingers?

That’s it for this weekend, although we should mention that there’s darts on as well, but don’t forget we’ve got lots on next week. As well as Championship and League Cup football, we have Danny M’s disco to start our Christmas weekend off. This is a first for the Club and we’re really ;looking forward to it so why not start Christmas with us on Friday night with Danny M.

Also. next Saturday is our Christmas Raffle night. This is a great annual event at the Club and we’re sure you’ll all be enjoying yourselves again. In the meantime, please get your raffle tickets returned to the Club, with the cash associated with them, and remember, you can still buy them loose over the bar.
