We have some fantastic sport coming up for you in the Club this week.
we start tonight with Premiership action at 8pm, when Spurs host Watford on Sky, which should be great for people who like to see goals.
Then tomorrow we’re in Europe, to watch the second leg of the Real Madrid-Bayern Munich Champions League semi final on BT at 7,45pm It’s a tough ask for the Germans at the Bernabeu because they’re chasing a 2-1 deficit.
On Wednesday its the big one for British interest, when Liverpool travel to Roma for their second leg with a three goal advantage. Of course, it could have been miles better had the silly sods not dozed off and let a 5-0 lead slip to 5-2 but, as long as Liverpool score, they should be safe. Kick off is at 7.45pm and this is on BT.
On Thursday Arsene’s chances of finishing his Arsenal career with a trophy are in the balance when his team travel to Atletico Madrid at 1-1. This means that the Gunners have to score if they are to draw, or they have to win and it kicks off at 8.05pm on BT.
We finish the week on Friday night when Brighton are on the tellybox for their trip up to Man Utd. Brighton look pretty well nailed on to stay in the Prem now so no doubt Chris Hughton will be opening the team up for a flamboyant grand finale against the sparkling football promoted by Jose. So if you haven’t got a ticket for the game, why not come down to the Club and watch with us and a pint or two. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
Finally, we’ve noticed that a few of you are meeting up in the Club to swap Panini stickers, so we’d like to set some time aside every Sunday for Panini lovers, that’s the stickers not the filled toasties, so if you’re keen to compare notes and swap stickers, why not come into the Club at 3.30pm on Sunday and see who else is there to trade. We’ll be looking to set time aside for this every week up to the World Cup and we’ll update on a regular time slot later in the week.
