The drama of the play offs all this week in the Club

Worried that life has lost all meaning now that the Premiership has finished? Or maybe you’re a Premier team manager whose just lost his job? Fear not, we’ve got proper football on our screens all this week, with League play off action on every day of the week, all on Sky. There’s also some cricket and, later in the week, the US PGA golf.

Our fun starts tonight, with Forest Green Rovers trying to claw back a 1-0 deficit from Tranmere Rovers in their League 2 play-off. That kicks off at 7.45. The winners will face Newport at Wembley on the Bank Holiday weekend.

Then tomorrow night at 8pm its West Brom-Villa in their Championship play-off, with Villa a goal up after dominating large sections of the weekend’s game but very fortunate not to have given a penalty away as well. If you’re in when we open at 5pm tomorrow there’ll be a second one-dayer between England and Pakistan on Sky as well.

On Wednesday its Leeds-Derby, also in the Championship and at 7.45pm, not 8pm. In that one Leeds have a one goal lead but they have lost striker Kemar Roofe so Banno watching should be almost as good as the game.

Thursday’s action begins at 5pm with the US PGA golf starting. That will run through to Sunday evening. Then at 7.45pm we can also watch Pompey-Sunderland in their League 1 play-off, with Pompey chasing a 1-0 deficit.

On Friday evening we have a third one-dayer at 4pm, the golf at 5pm and also the other League 1 play-off at 7.45pm, with Charlton 2-1 up at home to Doncaster.

Then on the weekend we have plenty on. We’re planning to run the barbie on Saturday, ahead of the FA Cup Final, Man City-Watford, which kicks off at 5pm. We’ll also have the golf starting at 4pm that day although if we have a crowd in for the football you will have to wait until that’s over.

Also on Saturday night its our May quiz night, kicking off at around 8.30pm. As ever, this will be open to teams of four at £2 a head.

And on Sunday there’s more one day cricket, the FA Trophy Final and the final day of the US PGA.

And, of course, it should be a nice weekend so you can have a pint and let the kids run riot in the park
