Well, at last it’s back. Proper football returned to our screens last weekend and this weekend the Premiership is back. We’re sure you’ve noticed, what with Sky endlessly advertising it and irritating your Chair by broadcasting Martin Tyler shrieking Agueeeerrrrroooooo!!! over and over again.
Tonight we welcome Arsenal and Leicester to our screens, kicking off the greatest season that ever there was at 7.45 pm on Sky. That will be followed tomorrow by Watford-Liverpol at 12.30 in the afternoon and then at 5.30 pm we’ll be showing Brighton’s return to the top flight when they face Man City at home on BT, so if you haven’t got a ticket get yourself down to the Club to enjoy the big day.
Then on Sunday we’re showing Newcastle-Spurs at 1.30pm and Man Utd West Ham at 4pm.
And of course, Matt Redmore is running a fantasy football league this season so this is your last chance to sign up, by 6.45pm tomorrow – instructions are below.
Of course, that’s not the end of the sport. We’ll be showing the US PGA golf in the evenings, while we also have the Austrian Moto GP at 1pm on Sunday. So we look forward to welcoming you all in the Club this weekend.
