This weeks sport

Hi all, We’re in for a great week of sport in the Club this week, with Premiership football, European football and Championship footie to take us into the weekend.

We start tonight with the final Premiership game of the weekend, Arsenal-Leicester. Given how badly we all seem to be doing in Neil’s Tipster competition this week there should be quite a few of us watching this one. If you need a pint while you suffer we’ll have it on in the Club at 8pm.

Tomorrow we’re off to Europe with two games on BT at 8pm. These are Shakhtar Donetsk-Man City and Man Utd-Juventus and we’ll have both on if there are viewers to watch them. However, as usual Sky will be running a spoiler at 7.45pm by showing Championship and the game they’ve chosen, Norwich-Villa, is one that at least one Club member will be keen to see, so if we have nobody in to watch one of the Champions League game, we’ll show the Villa match.

On Wednesday we start at 17.55, with PSV Eindhoven-Spurs in the Champions League on BT and follow that at 8pm with Liverpool-Crvena Zvezda (we don’t know either). Should our esteemed President wish it so, we can also put West Brom-Fat Frankie’s Derby County on at 8pm.

Thursday is given over to Europa League football, with Sporting :Lisbon-Arsenal on at 17.55, followed by Chelsea-BATE at 8pm – both of those games are on BT. Thursday also brings us the beginnings of the Sanderson Championships golf, which will be on every day from 7.30pm, although you’ll have to ask for it to be on if there’s already football on.

Finally on Friday we’ll be showing QPR-Aston Villa, not exactly a top Championship game but at least two Club members will be interested at 7.45pm.

That leads us into a great looking weekend, not only do we have our Halloween Party on Saturday, of which more later in the week, but we will be showing loads of top class football, the Mexican Grands Prix, 20/20 cricket, golf and American football.
