Wales v England the pick of the weekend action

If you’re into your sport we’ve got a great weekend of viewing coming up for you in the Club.

We have already started tonight, with England chasing the WIndies 290 on Sky right now and with West Ham hosting Fulham, also on Sky at the moment.

Then tomorrow we start a busy day with Burnley-Spurs on one set of screens at 12.30 and, on the other, at 2.15pm, France-Scotland in the Six Nations. Then at 3pm we’ll have the usual results service on until one of our weekend showpieces, the Wales-England Six Nations match starts at 4.45pm. We are expecting a crowd in for that one which means the match will be on all screens all the way through, so we’re very sorry footy fans but you will have to wait for the rugby to finish before you can watch what is left of the Leicester=Palace game on BT.

On Sunday football takes over. At Midday our Luton fan can come in and watch Luton-Coventry in League 1 on Sky. That is followed at 2.05pm by a cracking Premiership game on Sky with Man Utd-Liverpool. We’re assuming that there will be little interest in Italy-Ireland at 3pm, so its not a priority but we will have all screens devoted to the 4.30pm game, which is the League Cup Final anyway. This match gives us a repeat of one we watched in astonishment a week or so ago, Chelsea-Man City. Our Chelsea fans are not sounding confident. Finally on Sunday evening, you can watch the end of the Mexican Open golf, which is on on most evenings from about 7pm.

Next week the sporting TV gods are bringing us two one day internationals, Premiership football and more footy from the Championship, including no less than two Leeds games – goodness knows what our Leeds fans will do if they actually get promoted at last because their team will be on telly a lot less than it is in the Championship.
